Ninche Shot It, a media company providing services in photography and media coverage aimed at highlighting the positives in deprived societies and inspiring others to attain greatness through using available media to tell stories came to terms with Zurak Cancer Foundation to sign a distribution, promotion and exclusive media rights to provide the platform for “Ninche Shot It” to document the projects of Zurak Cancer Foundation for the year 2018. This partnership is expected to upgrade the brands of both parties through media. As part of Zurak Cancer Foundation transition process, the organization deem it necessary to propagate its endeavors through credible media platforms. We are so excited about this partnership and we looking forward to create change through the use of media.

One Year Volunteer Program - Recruitment Demographics

We have successfully completed our selection process out of the high numbers we recorded for the interview session. We are so excited about the candidates we selected for the One Year Volunteer Program. We have selected individuals with exceptional qualities and commitment to change. Based on our selection, we developed a strategy to have control over the southern, middle and northern belt of the country as we are looking forward to capture the whole of Ghana when we are 5 years in operation. Next year, we will be 4 years and we strongly believe this is the best beginning.

The CEOs of Zurak Cancer Foundation, Abdul Samed Zurak and Aspire Coronation Trust (ACT), Ms. Osayi Alile together with Ndifreke Okwuegbunam, Head of Programmes, ACT Foundation met today at Labadi Beach Hotel to discuss the prospects of expanding ACT Foundation’s projects in Ghana. Aspire Coronation Trust (ACT) Foundation is a grant making organization established in 2016 to support local, national and regional non - profit organizations working to address challenges and associated vulnerabilities across the African Continent. Their vision is to leverage relationships to create effective social impact solutions across Africa, with a Mission to build sustainable societies by engaging initiatives that unleash potential and empowers beneficiaries. Their focus areas for intervention are Health, Entrepreneurship, Environment and Leadership. It’s a great pleasure meeting with the ACT Foundation team and we are looking forward to great collaborations on projects soon.

We are so glad for an exciting and wonderful month of great impact for our Breast Cancer Awareness Program. We are highly impressed with the progressions and our drive for high impact solutions to cancer prevalence in Ghana. We would like to express our profound gratitude to  SO Social Multimedia ,  Sweden Ghana Medical Centre-SGMC , Ghana Technology University College ,  Ghana Institute of Journalism  a nd Clottie Muronda for the great support for our Breast Cancer Awareness Programs. We made our impact generations based on our social media reach for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp and impact generated from the Breast Cancer Awareness Program in collaboration with So Social Multimedia. Unfortunately, we couldn’t push forward our sub initiative and signature event (Market Invasion) for Breast Cancer due to delays from our partners but all the same we are excited about the impact we keep making into the lives of Ghanaians. Peace & Reconciliation Plenary Session & Closing Ceremony

For the last day of the One Young World Summit, we had the opportunity to listen to individuals promoting peace and reconciliation in Columbia and across the world. Sergio Londoño Zurek, Mayor of Cartagena, Colombia & Director General of the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation of Colombia, APC-Colombia shared his story on how he formed part of the peaceful negotiaition between the government of Columbia t he rebels. It was an inspiring moment to listen to young individuals in Columbia leading the development processes in the country. The next session featured the future of Columbia where individuals who played active role during the peace process between the government and FARC guerrilla. The session was hosted by Angela Anzola High Commissioner for Peace and Victims, Colombia with panelist such as Daniel Duque-Velásquez, who was part of a social movement that supported the process and demanded a political solution of armed conflict. It's a wonderful opportunity and a privilege to join the Poverty Alleviation & Economic Development Plenary Session to listen to great leaders on how they are working within their own sector to make impact into the lives of people. It was a pleasure to listen to Noble Peace Laureate Bob Geldof with his delegate speaker on how they are making impact into the lives of people. Noble Peace Laureate, Professor Mohammed Yunus expressed his passion to see the world becoming a better place by sharing his works and his three zeros policy (zero poverty, zero unemployment and zero net carbon emission) he believes these are the ways to solve the problems of the world and also he expressed his concerns on financial equality where the less privilege get the share of the world's worth. He spoke on the essence of education and entrepreneurship for young people in order to create the atmosphere of poverty reduction in the near future. Our CEO Donates A Photo To The "Save the Children" Campaign

Our CEO, Abdul Samed Zurak had the opportunity to donate photo at the Johnson & Johnson booth at the One Young World Summit. The initiative seeks to donate $1 to each photo taken by delegates at the Johnson & Johnson booth. So far, Johnson & Johnson has donated over $2.6 million to the Save the Children campaign and they are looking forward to keep expanding their efforts to impact the lives of children. The donating will be going to children in East Africa, Nigeria and Yemen. It's really a great honor to a have our CEO to be part of the solutions to the problems affecting the world.
