Zurak Cancer Foundation Unveils "Jadiluc" As Breast Cancer Ambassador



Zurak Cancer Foundation unveils Jahayra Luciano "Jadi Luc" as its ambassador for the upcoming breast cancer awareness program to educate the youth about breast cancer in various communities within the suburb of Accra. Zurak Cancer Foundation is very excited with this partnership with the singer to share her story as a cancer survivor with the youth in order to raise awareness about the disease and its prevalence in Africa. Jahayra Luciano, professionally known as “Jadi Luc” is an American R&B Pop singer of Dance Club, Salsa and House music. She is anticipated to be an important part of the resurgence of the Retro Dance Music & Neo-Salsa movement in New York Metropolitan Area.

In 2008 Jadi Luc made her first public appearances as a performer at the Coliseum Night Club, White Plains, NY and later that year at Le Poisson Rouge Nightclub in New York City as the opening act for Hit Dance Music recording artist Judy Torres. The first song she ever wrote was titled “Best of Me” produced by Cedsolo. In 2009 all had gone awry when Jadi Luc was confronted with the challenge of combatting a Cancer Diagnosis. Fortunately, following her recovery in 2011, Jadi Luc re-entered the music world in 2013 as a Cancer Survivor and became part of the underground hit dance group Flight Monkey signed to independent label under Ivy League Hits Entertainment and Producer Ced Solo.

Jadi Luc has unique beauty and style; inspiring celebrity photographer Shareef Ziyadat to agree to a photo shoot engagement with her. He is the personal photographer for P Diddy, 50 Cent and Jay-Z. Jadi is currently completing her first album project with hit producer and songwriter Ced Solo. In Early, 2009, Jadi Luc was diagnosed with Cancer. As a Cancer survivor, Jadi Luc has become a vigilant advocate of encouraging early sign testing for women.Jadi Luc is also a devoted mother to her miracle child, despite the fact that during her pregnancy and due to complications, the physician suggested to Jadi that she terminate the pregnancy in order to survive. Jadi Luc motto in life is “Celebrate Life” and “Live Free, Be Who You Want To Be”.
