It's a wonderful opportunity and a privilege to join the Poverty Alleviation & Economic Development Plenary Session to listen to great leaders on how they are working within their own sector to make impact into the lives of people. It was a pleasure to listen to Noble Peace Laureate Bob Geldof with his delegate speaker on how they are making impact into the lives of people. Noble Peace Laureate, Professor Mohammed Yunus expressed his passion to see the world becoming a better place by sharing his works and his three zeros policy (zero poverty, zero unemployment and zero net carbon emission) he believes these are the ways to solve the problems of the world and also he expressed his concerns on financial equality where the less privilege get the share of the world's worth. Our CEO, Abdul Samed Zurak had the opportunity to share his story to the One Young World audience at the Johnson & Johnson booth. The interview highlighted the community based impact Zurak Cancer Foundation is running to stem the prevalence rate of cancer. It was an inspiring moment as it creates an avenue for dialogue with the audience on the need to foster the fight against non-communicable diseases especially in Africa.

It’s a great pleasure meeting with  Bristol-myers Squibb Foundation   which promotes health equity and seeks to improve the health outcomes of populations disproportionately affected by serious diseases by strengthening healthcare worker capacity, integrating medical care and community-based supportive services and mobilizing communities in the fight against diseases

Opening Ceremony: It was a great honor to be part of the opening ceremony for the One Young World Summit as we had the opportunity to listen to great leaders and Noble Peace Laureate like  Kofi Annan , Bob Geldof, Professor Mohammed Yunus,  Juan Manuel Santos - Presidente  and  Tawakkol Karman It was a great inspiring moment and defining moments with celebrities such as  Tinie Tempah

Our CEO, Abdul Samed Zurak had the opportunity to donate photo at the Johnson & Johnson booth at the One Young World Summit. The initiative seeks to donate $1 to each photo taken by delegates at the Johnson & Johnson booth. So far, Johnson & Johnson has donated over $2.6 million to the Save the Children campaign and they are looking forward to keep expanding their efforts to impact the lives of children. The donating will be going to children in East Africa, Nigeria and Yemen. It's really a great honor to a have our CEO to be part of the solutions to the problems affecting the world.

The Johnson & Johnson One Young World delegates and scholars had the opportunity to get together before the One Young World Summit. The event which was hosted by Johnson & Johnson sort to match the scholars together with their buddy teams and the entire team of Johnson & Johnson at the One Young World Summit. Our CEO, Abdul Samed Zurak had the opportunity to meet with his buddy team and have a conversation on how to make an impact in Ghana through Zurak Cancer Foundation. Currently, our CEO and his buddy team made of expects from the Johnson & Johnson global team are working together with the administrative team of Zurak Cancer Foundation to strengthen the grounds of the organization and inspire the administrative to develop strategies to sustain initiatives under Zurak Cancer Foundation.
