The World Cancer Day is a day set aside by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the goals and objectives of the World Cancer Declaration, which was written in the year 2008. It is an international day marked on 4th of February every year to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. The day was set aside by the international community to increase awareness and education on cancer with the slogan "We can. I can".
